Acts 1:8 says, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

We support Brian Evans, as our missionary to Rome, Italy. As of this writing (July 2010), Brian has been in Rome for 3 1/2 years now, and is planning a 4-5 year stay. His mission is through Campus Crusade for Christ.

Campus Crusade for Christ is an organization formed to turn lost students into Christ centered citizens. Their spiritual mandate is found in Matthew 28:18-20.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

CCC mainly focuses on college students in the US and abroad, but Brian is pioneering a new ministry strategy in Rome. The intention of this "City Focus" ministry is to bring the Gospel into every segment of society in the major cities of the world. Rome is the pioneer international city for this new initiative.
